Q: Where do I start?

A: After reading our questions, be sure to email an enquiry, as every event is special and we want to ensure your package is suited just to you.

Q: What is included?

A: Every function is different – however every basic hire comes with two RSA staff, five hour hire, water station, eight bags of ice, drink garnishes and straws.

Q: Where do you travel to?

A: A 50km radius from our base in Lovedale, Hunter Valley. Extra distance, remote or difficult to access properties and over night stays will incur extra charges.

Q: Does my hire time include set up?

A: No – however we will need approximately 2 hours prior for set up and 1 hour after for pack down.

Q: What access do you require?
+
A: Our set up area is best to be flat, no one likes spilt drinks. Number 84 is 2.3m wide, 2.6m long and 2.3m high, so if there are any particularly low hanging branches or obstacles, you may need to do some gardening for us to get in. When we are set up, we need a clearance area of 5.5m to operate.

Q: Does Number 84 need water and power?

A: Power – yes. If power is unavailable, a generator will need to be supplied.
Water – no, but can come in handy if available.

Q: My celebration is in a park, will this be a problem?

A: If your celebration is not on a private property, you will be required to get the relevant permission and licenses for us to attend.

Q: Can I supply my own alcohol for the event?

A: We would love to take all the hassle out of your day by building and suppling a package that suits your event. Together we can work on the perfect selection to make your celebration unique and memorable. If you wish to supply your own wine and spirits, a small corkage fee will apply.

Q: Can we have cocktails?

A: Yes you can! Beer, wine, spirits and cocktails are all available out of Number 84. We do have a specific cocktail list for you to choose from however we are always open to suggestions if you have a favourite.

Q: Do we need a cool room?

A: You will want your drinks to be cold. Number 84 has a cool room that can be hired with the truck or you can provide one onsite yourself. If we are not providing the wine and soft drinks for your event, please remember to have them chilled prior to the day.

Q: How many staff do we require for our event?

A: All standard events come with two RSA staff. If you wish to add cocktails or have over 100 guests, we will request extra staff at an added cost. Remember no one likes to wait!

Q: Do we need to provide meals for the bar tenders?
+
A: Yes please. They work better on a full belly.

Q: Does Number 84 provide glassware?

A: We are happy to supply glassware for your event. Glassware will require an onsite glass washing facility and any breakages will incur a charge. We will have glassware for all styles of drinks, including cocktails. If biodegradable plastic is required, this will be supplied at an extra cost.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: We do not provide refunds in the case of bad weather. In the event of rain it is the responsibility of the host to make alternate arrangements and notify Number 84 as soon as possible.

Q:What do you do with the rubbish?

A: All rubbish will be left on site for removal.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?

A: All packages are quoted to the individual and will clearly list any extra charges you may be up for, such as extra staff. Any damage to Number 84 or breakages of hire items, such as glassware, will incur a charge.

Q: How do I book?

A: Please contact us for an individual quote, telling us as much as possible about your special event. Once we are all happy, a fully completed signed booking agreement and 20% deposit will be required to secure the booking. 30 Days out a further 60% payment is required, with final payment due 14 days out from the event. Please note that booking deposits are non-refundable.
